UPTET Result Declared, What’s Next?

UPTET Result has been declared by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board. The Result of the eligibility test will deem the qualified students eligible for teaching jobs across the state. UPTET Result is declared in form of score cards also considered as a certificate to be produced during the next stages of selection process or recruitment of the selected students.

  • The Result declared is final and no request to reevaluate the paper will be entertained.
  • The certificate provided will be valid for 5 years.
  • Appeared students can also request for their OMR sheets after a successful payment of INR 500.
The Students scoring marks above the 60% i.e. 90 out of 150 will be considered eligible for the next level of selection process. The students need to look for upcoming recruitment drives in various central and state government institutes in Uttar Pradesh and attend the drive in person.

How to check UPTET Result?

As mentioned earlier, the Result of UPTET will be uploaded on the official website. Students need to follow the steps listed below. The information required in the process must be entered accurately and correctly to ensure smooth process of the result.
  • Go to the official website
  • Click on the UPTET Result
  • Enter required UPTET Roll Number and date of Birth
  • Download your score card
  • Obtain hard copy for future purpose.
UPTET Eligibility Certificate

UPTET Eligibility Certificate is considered valid for a period of 5 years. The copy of certificate is obtained from the district education board by providing a copy of UPTET Admit Card and valid primary Identity Card. Studentsacquiringa second copy of the UPTET Eligibility Certificate can avail by paying fees of INR 300 through DD (Demand Draft) payable at Secretary, Examination Controller Officer, Uttar Pradesh, 23 Aliganj, Allahabad.

A candidate has to submit copies of the following documents to retrieve the second copy of UPTET Eligibility Certificate:
  • Class X mark-sheet
  • UPTET Admit Card
  • Caste Certificate
  • PH Certificate
  • Advertisement of lost Eligibility Certificate in Newspaper
  • FIR Copy of lost UPTET Eligibility Certificate
The candidates who qualify in UPTET, and want to apply for the teaching post in UP can apply by providing the eligibility certificate.

UPTET Cutoff and Merit List

Since UPTET 2017 is an eligibility exam, cut off marks are generalized before the exam and students scoring above the mentioned cutoff is deemed qualified. The board releases UPTETMerit List of the exam post successful conduct of the exam. This year, UP board will release the Merit List for near about forty-thousands candidates.

UPTET Selection Process

The students deemed qualified must look for the recruitment drives and attend the intervies in person. The interviews would be conducted at the venues decided by the recruitment boards and students are advised to carry all the documents as required by the them to the said venue on or before time.
